The following information is about Triangulation.

Triangulation Defined

A process whereby a King is moved twice to reach a square which could be attained in a single move. The beginning square and the two squares to which it is moved form a “triangle”. Triangulation is generally employed only in endings and usually involves Kings -- one King is forced to shuttle between two squares while the other King has three squares (the 'triangle') at its disposal.

This definition is in context to Chess. See more contextual defintions for Triangulation.

  • Qhull code for Convex Hull, Delaunay Triangulation, Voronoi Diagram, and Halfspace Intersection about a Point: Qhull computes the convex hull, Delaunay triangulation, Voronoi diagram, halfspace intersection about a point, furthest-site Delaunay triangulation, and furthest-site Voronoi diagram. The software runs in 2-d, 3-d, 4-d, and higher dimensions. Qhull implements the Quickhull algorithm for computing the convex hull. It handles roundoff errors from floating point arithmetic. Qhull also computes volumes, surface areas, and approximations to the convex hull.
